Post #10 & Twitter article

For your new blog post, state which paper question you're more interested in, what your tentative answer is, and 5 ideas you have for supporting your argument.

In case you forgot, here are the two broad questions (your actual paper prompt for Thursday's in-class essay will be more specific than this):
1) Do the pros of modern technology outweigh the cons?
2) How has modern technology changed how humans interact?

    I am going to chose 1. Do the pros of modern technology outweigh the cons?

    Yes modern technology greatly outweighs the cons.

    1. Anyone can be a publisher
    2. Interact with people on different levels.
    3. Makes the world smaller.
    4. Endless amounts of information.
    5. Everything can be saved forever.

    Pros outweigh the cons

    1. easier to comunicate
    2. knowledge at finger tips
    3. advances in medicine
    4. safer
    5. entertainment

    I chose question #2: How has modern technology changed how humans interact?

    I think modern technology has affected us negatively in the fact that we don't interact with friends and family like we use to.

    Some of the ideas I have are:

    1. We rely to much on social networking.
    2. The loss of English (grammar and punctuation).
    3. We show no emotion through technology.
    4. Relationships are not firmly grounded.
    5. It affects are social skills.

    2) How has modern technology changed how humans interact?

    1. people are more inpersonal
    2. lack of social skills
    3. there is more texting than speaking with someone
    4. before people would have to go out to job hunt, now everything is done online
    5. people keep friendships online rather than in person

    I'm going to write about prompt #1
    because i don't think the pros outweigh the cons.
    1) technology is helpful but when it breaks down we are nothing
    2) time consuming
    3)use it inappropriately
    4)unemployment
    5)laziness

    I choose prompt number 1

    Even though there are alot of cons I still think pros out weigh them....but the pros can also be flipped to cons as well.

    1)communication and interactions are easier(stay in contact)
    2)fast news and information
    3)makes life easier
    4)more organized
    5)medicine and health
    6)saves money and time
    7)keeps us entertained =)

    I chose topic #2: How has modern technology changed how humans commicate?

    I am going to talk about cell phones and they have changed the way we live.

    1) texting
    2) contacting people around the world in just seconds
    3) having it with you at all times
    4) most lifes can be saved
    5) maps, internet on cells, etc.

    im doing my paper on prompt #2: how has modern technology changed how humans interact

    I think that modern technology has changed the way we interact but in a good way.

    Example
    1. peole from across the world can interact better
    2.more convenient
    3.texting now is a faster way of getting a hold of someone
    4.Its better for people who are shy
    5.I feel as though peoples social skills are still there becasue I know that I text alot but that hasnt stopped me from being social
